Hi
Great site. I am from Workington but live in Egremont now. I have been forafing all my life and make wine and cider but also love mushroom picking. I usually concentrate on the woods around Bassenthwaite but I think the boletus mushrooms have been a bit poor this year. Plenty of chantrelles though. I have also found lots of blusher for some reason but I usually give them a wide birth. Look too much like panther cap for me
