What`s Cooking ? – The finest ingredients on the planet , prepared with meticulous attention to detail , cooked with the precision of a Surgeon and plated like an Artist….Stunning in every way.
Who`s Cooking ? – Chef Alex Dilling (ex Ducasse NYC , The Greenhouse London and Helene Darroze at The Connaught , London).
He`s a total one off in the UK.
What should I expect ? – A fine dining experience eating World class food that cannot be described in any way other than Perfection.
Must Order dish – The Hunter Chicken is Chef Alex`s signature dish. (see photos below) It isn`t always on the menu (but should be) and appears as a special on occasions. I can guarantee it`ll be the highlight of any diners meal if they get the opportunity to experience it.
What will it cost me ? – A meal here isn`t cheap so budget on roughly £300 each with Wine and service. Lunch menu – 4 courses for £95. Dinner SignatureTasting menu 9 courses for £155 ( £145 for the classic wine pairing – £) Connoisseurs Tasting Menu – 9 courses £195.(Prestige Wine pairing – £295) The Wine ranges from £40 to £9500 a bottle with BYO Corkage set at £100 per bottle. Champagne – Veuve Cliquot Ponsardin at £32 a glass. Water – £6.50 a Bottle Service Charge is 15% on top of your bill.
My thoughts – It`s an amazing experience but proceed with caution as your bill can escalate very quickly.
What`s the Atmosphere like ? – Modern , welcoming and friendly. Jazz music plays in the background.
What`s good – EVERYTHING , The food here is so beautiful that you`ll actually feel guilty eating it.
Any Negatives Would I return ? – Yes , without a doubt, but we`ll have to carefully chose a cheaper Wine option next time as our bill came to £1,820 including a £237 service charge for 6 of us.

CANAPE CHAUD (warm) – Warm Tartiflette – Onion , Potato , Cheese and Bacon.
AGED KALUGA CAVIAR – Fine de Claire Oyster , Smoked Cream , Ginger.


BREAD SELECTION – Onion Brioche (centre) being the highlight.
CORNISH SARDINES , Buttermilk bavarois , Vinaigrette pearls.

PATE DE CAMPAGNE , Sphere of Andignac Foie Gras , Boudin Noir , Black truffle and Iberico Pork. Pickled Cucumber , honey truffle Mustard and delicate cripbreads



CLAM CHOWDER – Dorset Clams, confit Potatoes topped with crème fraiche , Cockles and Caviar with a Clam velouté.

DOVER SOLE topped with a Parsley Gelee , Vin Jaune sauce , Gnocchi Parisienne, Grey Shrimp.


LES VOSGES QUAIL en Vessie (cooked in a Pigs Bladder) stuffed with Foie gras and Black trompettes de mort mushrooms. Sauce Blanquette
HERDWICK LAMB SADDLE, Ceps and Green Olives.

CANARD AU SANG – Maison Burgaud.


LEMON BALM SORBET, Lemon Balm leaf , Provencal Olive Oil.

HAZELNUT FROM JURA , Vanilla , Brandy Sabayon. Vanilla Bean ice cream.
